Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (45g) old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
- 1 pinch (1g) sea salt
- 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) vanilla extract
- 1 tsp (5g) chia seeds
- 1/2 cup (75g) fresh blueberries
- 1/2 sliced (60g) medium banana
- 1/4 cup (40g) diced apple
- 1 tbsp (15g) hemp seeds
- 1 tsp (5ml) raw honey
Instructions:
- Combine the rolled oats, almond milk, sea salt, and chia seeds in a small saucepan.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Reduce heat to low and cook for 5–7 minutes until the mixture is thickened and retains a slight bite.
- Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and diced apple.
- Pour the creamy oats into a breakfast bowl.
- Arrange the sliced banana and blueberries on top in a crescent shape.
- Finish with a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of hemp seeds.
