Ingredients:

  • 8 oz goat cheese, room temperature
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/3 cup fig jam
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp water
  • 2 tbsp chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves

Instructions:

  1. Place the room-temperature goat cheese and heavy cream in a bowl. Use a hand mixer on medium-high speed for 2–3 minutes until the cheese is light, fluffy, and holds soft peaks. Stir in the salt.
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the fig jam and lemon juice. Stir constantly for 2–3 minutes until the jam becomes fluid and glossy. If the jam is too thick, stir in the water. Remove from heat.
  3. Spoon the whipped goat cheese into a serving bowl or pipe it into small mounds. Carefully pour the warm fig jam over the center, allowing it to swirl naturally.
  4. Immediately top the assembly with chopped pecans and fresh thyme leaves.
