Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240ml) fruit juice
- 1/2 cup (120ml) simple syrup
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
- 4 cups (945g) ice cubes
Instructions:
- Combine the fruit juice, simple syrup, and citrus juice in the blender jar. Blend on low for 10 seconds to ensure the syrup is fully integrated.
- Add the ice cubes in two batches. Start the blender on the lowest setting, then quickly ramp up to high.
- Use a tamper or stop the blender to stir the ice down until the sound changes from 'crushing' to a smooth 'whirring' sound.
- Check the texture; it should look like wet snow and hold a soft peak. Blend for another 15 seconds if too chunky, or add more ice and pulse if too liquid.
