Ingredients:
- 2 lbs frozen beef and pork blend meatballs
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
Instructions:
- Whisk the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and ginger in a medium bowl. Note: Whisk until the honey is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
- Place the 2 lbs of frozen meatballs directly into the slow cooker.
- Pour the glaze over the meatballs.
- Stir gently with a silicone spatula until every meatball is evenly coated.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to Low for 4 hours (or High for 2 hours).
- Cook until the glaze has thickened into a glossy, mahogany coating and the meatballs are hot throughout.
- Turn off the heat and let the Meatball Appetizers rest for 10-15 minutes. Note: This allows the protein to reabsorb the juices.
- Give the meatballs one final toss to ensure the glaze is clinging to the protein.
- Serve immediately with toothpicks.
