Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs frozen beef and pork blend meatballs
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger

Instructions:

  1. Whisk the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and ginger in a medium bowl. Note: Whisk until the honey is fully dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
  2. Place the 2 lbs of frozen meatballs directly into the slow cooker.
  3. Pour the glaze over the meatballs.
  4. Stir gently with a silicone spatula until every meatball is evenly coated.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and set it to Low for 4 hours (or High for 2 hours).
  6. Cook until the glaze has thickened into a glossy, mahogany coating and the meatballs are hot throughout.
  7. Turn off the heat and let the Meatball Appetizers rest for 10-15 minutes. Note: This allows the protein to reabsorb the juices.
  8. Give the meatballs one final toss to ensure the glaze is clinging to the protein.
  9. Serve immediately with toothpicks.
