Ingredients:

  • 16 high-quality frozen fish sticks
  • 2 grams cooking oil spray (avocado or olive oil)
  • 3 cups shredded green or red cabbage
  • 0.25 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha hot sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 12 small corn tortillas
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced

Instructions:

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange 16 frozen fish sticks in a single layer, spritz lightly with oil spray, and air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through until mahogany-colored and crispy.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss shredded cabbage, cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Allow to sit for 10 minutes to soften. In a separate small bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, Sriracha, garlic powder, and cumin until smooth.
  3. Warm 12 tortillas in a dry skillet over medium-high heat until charred spots appear and they become pliable.
  4. To assemble, place a spoonful of slaw on each tortilla, top with 1-2 fish sticks, an avocado slice, and a drizzle of the white sauce. Serve immediately.
