Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (58g) Grape-Nuts Cereal
- 2/3 cup (160ml) Whole Milk
- 1/2 tsp Ground Saigon Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Maple Syrup
- 1 pinch Sea Salt
Instructions:
- Combine 160ml whole milk, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp maple syrup, and a pinch of salt in a small saucepan. Whisking while cold prevents cinnamon clumping.
- Set the burner to medium heat. Cook until small bubbles form around the edges and steam begins to rise.
- Place 58g of cereal into a sturdy ceramic bowl. Ceramic retains heat longer than plastic or glass.
- Pour the steaming milk mixture directly over the cereal.
- Allow the bowl to sit for 2 minutes until the kernels slightly soften.
- Give it a quick toss to ensure the cinnamon hasn't settled at the bottom.
- If you prefer it softer, let it sit for another 60 seconds.
- Top with an extra tiny dust of cinnamon if you want that visual wow factor.
